In forward counting, we go from a smaller number to a larger number.
For Example;
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 is a forward counting from 1 to 10.

In backward counting, we start from a larger number to a smaller number.
For Example;
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 is a backward counting from 10 to 1.
